New year is identical with new life, hope, and resolution.

It is necessary to create the best for ourselves that is different from the previous year. Sometimes, people can not change their life because they lack motivation, disrespect their own life, do not have a good perspective about their future, and so on.

Believe it or not, people can be the worst critic for their own self.

In order to change ourselves and turn our resolution to be real, we need to change our mindset first. Therefore, creating a new path to love ourselves more than others is vital.

1. Remember: Everyone is As Human As You Are

Technology advance creates a new hobby: looking at others' lives too much.

In order to get rid of self-deprecation, remind yourself that everyone is as human as you are. The beautiful and gorgeous people you look up to also have their anxiety and problem as yours. They also have doubts about their future and for sure that they are just like you at some point in their lives.

Just because you see their perfect side does not mean they are flawless.

By reminding ourselves about this concept, we will focus on our happiness and be more confident about our life.

2. Give Yourself Enough Allowance for Mistakes

For example, if your goal is to be more healthy do not create the goal : be healthy

Instead, try to write your goal as specific and measurable. For example : Eating vegetables two times per day.

This way will help you to remember to stay in progress and as a result it can help you achieve your primary goal : be healthy.

1. Goal = be a writer

    Measurable goal = write an article one per two days

2. Goal = stay productive

    Measurable goal = do chores at 8 am until 12 am, read books in leisure time, etc.

3. Goal = be happy

    Measurable goal = do your hobbies every weekend, write a journal, watch your favorite movie in leisure time, appreciate the work given to you, etc.

These ways will help you understand your goals and track their progress clearly. 

4. Do Not Get Stuck in Planning. Take Action!

For some people, they are too attached with the plans that they create. Planning is also crucial, but when you see that you are stuck with it without any improvements or actual action, you need to do something immediately.

“Most of the time, people get stuck in planning because they avoid failure”

When creating the plans, goals, or new resolutions, at some points, we feel like we have ‘created’ something good for ourselves. We ‘feel’ we make improvements for our future. 

But that plans will always be plan if we are not doing any actions.

Therefore, if you want to be the BEST VERSION of you, you need to execute your plans. Take an action, even though the smallest one. 

If your plan is to become a writer, start writing an article right now.

If your plan is to lose weight, start doing exercise right now.

If your plan is to be humble and friendly, start putting a smile on your face every time you meet people right now.

These small things will change you and create your plans to be reality.

5. Practice

I believe we all know that good result is developed by enough practices.

Practice can help you understand the struggles that might be happened in the future.

Practice can help you understand the actions to pursue your goals.

Practice can help you to get rid of your anxiety and depression.

Also, practice definitely can boost your self confidence because you already know or at least you already have right imagination about your future
